must sees and must dos

everything nyc.

Featuring restaurants and bars in the greater Boston area. This is where I was born & raise!

Most memorable vibe

Philly reminds me of Boston, which I loved a lot because I love Boston's design, and completely forgot that Philly had a whole bunch of important, historic shit, going on at the same time Boston did when Europeans came to America. Honestly love roaming around the city because there's history + attractions combined all in the same area, just like Boston!

    The Deets

 When: 2015ish

How many times? I can't remember

Route: Plane

Spending $ for a day: $120 (food, sites, transportation)

Where to Play

Rocky Steps (@Philadelphia Museum of Art)

I had a crazy idea after randomly watching Rocky for a time....I want to run up the steps like Rocky did! My girl thought I was crazy but also was down after realizing how RIDICULOUSLY cool this was gonna be! I have the video on my Instagram somewhere, it was awesome! I also saw a replica of The Thinker, whose actual real version I saw back at its home at the Musee Rodin in Paris!

The Liberty Bell

I didn't realize how respected Benjamin Franklin was in Philly, learning so much about his home, his whereabouts, his beliefs. The Liberty bell, however, was by far the most shocking discovery, as I have been fooled for all my life (at the point) to think that it was much bigger. LOL~

Where to Eat

campo's (philly's best since 1947)

For as long as I can remember, I've associated cheesestakes with Philly and no other city haha! I did my brief research when I finally got to the city and had to check out this famous spot known for its cheesestakes!

Green eggs cafe

A friend of my girl's highly recommended this spot and I couldn't believe how awesome their breakfast plates were, tasty! All three of us had bomb plates. I had one of their popular French toast specials that was bombbbb! I believe there's a few locations throughout the city!
