Where to Play

     Sundance film festival!

My brother and I took an adventure to Utah in order to partake in the Sundance festivities! It was our first time experiencing a film festival when we went go to see His House by Remi Weeks, an excellent film about two immigrants from Sudan trying to make a new living in America affect escaping the war. Accra was a sponsor and they had plenty of cool activities, not to mention free thangs everywhere! From free beer to free souvenirs! My brother and I had a blast.

     PARK CITY

One thing we kept hearing about was the skiing! As soon as we got on the airplane, a guy sitting next to me told me everything I needed to know about Park City including the skiing. He talked about that the most because it was a hobby for him himself. It’s a hobby for so many people. Basically everybody that lives there is a skier LOL and happy AF too! Many people moved there from other states, that reminded me of Hawaii though the weather is completely different — same idea! People move to places to satisfy their hobbies. It’s dope. It would be cool to see everybody able to make that work for something they love to do! I totally see that possible.

Apparently Park City has some pretty dope restaurants and Main Street is the IT place to be! Firewood was a recommendation we heard more than once (we make it a habit to ask multiple people to get the most well rounded answer — hopefully)! Friendly and informative af staff that clearly know their menu, and the vegan dishes were tasty. One of those restaurants that master the veggies and grains we don’t like — where it ends up tasting like a unicorn popping out of a rainbow with gold! Wonder wtf that tastes like hahaha - this! We got to enjoy Sapphire's Lounge in Park city too - a vibe!
